Our Mission

The International Hospitality Center (IHC) serves the international community, including refugees and international students, in the Indiana, PA area.

IHC has as its focus the welcoming and caring for our international friends and their transition to the American culture in hopes that mutual respect and appreciation will develop between the International and American communities.

The International Hospitality Center has been serving Indiana, Pennsylvania since 2018. We were granted nonprofit PA Public Charity Status and IRS 501(c)3 in 2022.

What We Do

Our interactions with international students and refugees provide opportunities to develop relationships, discover their needs and serve them in meaningful ways. It also provides internationals with social opportunities to meet and develop relationships with each other in a relaxing, safe atmosphere, as well as introduce them to the American culture.

Our Programs

  • Tutor International children
  • Provide opportunities to practice/learn English for children and adults
  • Provide food to International people in need
  • Provide various gathering opportunities to facilitate friendships with other internationals and Americans
  • Provide household items and clothing as available
